Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif‘s Tiger Zinda Hai is one of the most anticipated films of the year and we can’t wait for this one, right? Well, we are quite stoked about the fact that the sequel to Ek Tha Tiger promises some breathtaking actions sequences that you might not have seen in any Bollywood film till day! The killer duo of Tiger and Zoya will surely weave magic on the silver screen in this jaw-dropping, death-defying actioner that you cannot miss. But if the posters and stills, that were released till now, have impressed you even a bit, then just wait till you see this latest still from the film. Salman aka Tiger is seen pulling off an insane action sequence, wielding one of the heaviest weapons to feature in any film till date. Yes, Salman promises to kill all the baddies with this deadly machine gun. But wait, there’s more that we know about it.

Salman will be seen using a MG 42 in quite a few action sequences. It is a massive machine gun, as seen in the picture, that he prefers to use while fighting off his enemies. During a heavy-duty action sequence, that forms a crucial part of Tiger Zinda Hai‘s plot, Salman will be seen wielding this gun, killing all the baddies out there. But it wasn’t easy to use it! The MG 42 weighs more than 25 – 30 kilograms. It also has a magazine of cartridges attached to it, which makes it an even heavier, but a helluva gun

As director Ali Abbas Zafar explains, “When you feature a superstar like Salman Khan, who is known to pull his weight for a film’s action, you need to have weaponry that suits his stature and also fit in with the scale of Tiger Zinda Hai. This fight sequence is part of a very crucial chapter in the film, and the weapon needed to match the scale and impact of this moment. For this scene, Salman fired around 5000 cartridges, over 3 consecutive days. It actually becomes one of the most iconic shots of the film. Because the gun was being used continuously, we needed to keep two such weapons ready for use. It generates extreme heat and we worked in very hot conditions. We had to flip the gun continuously, and keep both in perfect functioning condition.

Salman Khan’s Tiger Zinda Hai is truly going to be larger-than-life. A true blue masala entertainer, this one will surely take your breath away, keeping you at the edge of your seats throughout the film.
