Shah Rukh Khan proved it yet again how witty and sassy he can be when a journalist mistakenly called him ‘Salman’. Catching the audience off guard with his hilarious reply, he left them in a fit of laughter.
Shah Rukh Khan has a way with words, and his quick-witted tweets during the occasional #AskSRK sessions are proof enough. The 51-year-old actor was recently addressing the press for Ted Talks India, which he is all set to host, when a rather amusing blooper took place. A journalist mistakenly called the Badshah of Bollywood ‘Salman’. Shocked? Yes, it happened — not once, or twice, but she goofed up his name a number of times.
But, living up to his ‘witty’ image, Khan tackled the situation with utmost grace and charmed his fans yet again. Giving her a taste of her own medicine, he asked her name — to which she replied ‘Lipika’ — and then knowingly mispronounced it as ‘Deepika’. Catching the audience off guard with his hilarious reply, he left them in a fit of laughter.
